Cleaning knitted uniforms requires considering both the material characteristics and the frequency of daily use. Proper care can effectively extend their lifespan and maintain their crispness and shape. Here are some recommended cleaning methods:

Preparation before washing

Check the care label: Confirm whether it can be hand-washed or dry-cleaned, and the applicable washing method (hand wash/machine wash), water temperature limits (usually ≤30℃), and prohibited items (e.g., do not bleach with chlorine).

Sorting: Sort by color (separate light/dark colors to prevent color bleeding), material (separate pure wool/blended fabrics), and thickness to avoid cross-contamination or damage.

Dust removal and stain removal: Dust easily adheres to knitted uniforms after wearing. Before washing, gently pat or shake off surface dust. For localized stains, use a neutral detergent solution dampened with a clean towel to gently pat them on. Avoid vigorous rubbing to prevent further staining.

Washing Method Selection

Recommended: Hand washing (especially suitable for natural fibers such as wool and cashmere)

Preparation: Warm water below 30℃ + neutral detergent (wool-specific or baby laundry detergent recommended), diluted 1:300.

Soaking: Soak the knitted uniform in water for 5–10 minutes, avoiding prolonged soaking which can loosen the fibers.

Washing: Gently press and wash with your palms. For key areas (collar and cuffs), gently rub with your fingertips. Do not wash on a washboard or wring.

Rinsing: Rinse repeatedly with clean water until no foam remains. For the final rinse, add a small amount of wool fabric softener and soak for 2–3 minutes to maintain softness.
